Teaching Philosophy

I believe that essential elements for being a great teacher are the ability to be patient, supportive, flexible and to enter class with positive attitude and high expectation. It is important to be lenient and approachable so that students should feel comfortable enough to ask for assistance or address concerns. I have found that providing a safe environment for students directly impacts their enthusiasm towards the class and incentive them to want to be succeed.
